Modern Lucia

I was thinking about Don Giovanni - my current project at school - when i started a drawing of what should have been Donna Anna, and which eventually turned out to be Lucia di Lammermoor. Doesn"t look really a theater costume, but, still.

For those who do not quite know her story, she loves THE guy that her brother hates, and the guy loves her, but then her brother forces her to marry an other stupid guy, so the guy she loves thinks she just betrayed him so he insults her at the wedding, and she's turned mad by sadness and therefore murders the other stupid guy as soon as they're sat on their wedding bed. 

she then enters the room where all the guests are joyously partying, with the knife in one hand and her veil in the other, still mad, and sing a splendid aria, thinking that her lover is near her and that they are going to marry right now. 

While dropping blood all over the place.
